Our team consists of a variety of experts working across all aspects of employee performance and development.
Alice Willis – Founder & Director
Before setting up Realise, Alice worked for over 10 years as a corporate strategist in a number of leading organisations. It was through this experience that the idea for Realise was formed. Alice saw too often that businesses suffer due to inefficient working practices and jaded teams. Set up to change that, Realise tackles big and broad issues relating to workplace performance.
Alice is a highly experienced facilitator and continues to lead many of our sessions. She is obsessive about making sure our services and materials equip employees and businesses with everything they need to make positive changes.
Carolyn Quainton – Director
Carolyn is a leading member of the Realise team, involved in both the design and delivery of our sessions. Her expertise lies in the area of ‘productivity’, showing people how they can work better and more effectively. She outlines strategies to help people deal with information and work overload, so they achieve more and feel less stressed.
Beyond that, Carolyn oversees the design of all our sessions – working with the topic specialists where need be. As an ex-educator, she has the right skills to do this, meaning our sessions are always engaging, relevant and understood.
Dr Tracy Johnson – Lead Coach
Tracy worked for 17 years in higher education as a lecturer and professional skills trainer. Following that, she went on to qualify as a coach.
Tracy oversees the delivery of all of Realise’s session – ensuring our training style is consistent, effective and enjoyable. Beyond that, Tracy’s focus is on helping people manage stress and conflict in the workplace. She also has a specialist interest in helping individuals and groups build their confidence, having worked with everyone from university students to business leaders in this area.
Gill Martin – Facilitator & Coach
With 25 years in learning and development, Gill is passionate about equipping individuals with the skills they need to perform at their best. Whilst also helping organisations to harness the expertise and creativity of all their employees. She has a particular interest in helping colleagues build strong working relationships as the foundation for collaboration, problem-solving and outstanding performance.
As a qualified coach and team coach, Gill’s facilitation style is both encouraging and stretching. Her sessions will make you think and you’ll leave with practical strategies that can be applied right away.
Craig Malpass – Facilitator
Craig has a passion for encouraging great mental health, having faced his own challenges in life. An award-winning playwright, Craig has a passion for storytelling, stemming from a desire to scrutinise the stories we tell ourselves that can keep us trapped in negative mindsets and behaviours. Using storytelling, Craig looks to inspire audiences and those he meets in order to create positive change in their lives.
At Realise, Craig’s area of focus is helping people look after their wellbeing and relationship to digital technology – and through doing so showing them how they can work more effectively.
James Maher – MHFA Instructor
James specialises in delivering MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) training courses to businesses on behalf of Realise. With over 20 years of experience in senior HR roles, James became an accredited MHFA Instructor in 2016.
As a result of the high quality & major impact of the participant evaluations received from his courses to date, MHFA England appointed James as one of their Associate Instructors in May 2017. Feedback from delegates is overwhelmingly positive and James takes pride in making the training as engaging and impactful as possible.
