Burnout is a feeling of extreme physical and emotional exhaustion. In 2019, the World Health Organization classified it formally as a “syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed.” And it is on the rise. In the last year, the number of workers assessing their mental health as poor, or very poor, tripled (Asana). We need to find ways to rebuild and restore our wellbeing at work.
This session will do just that – providing an opportunity to get away from busy lives and take stock. Everyone will discover practical actions they can take to improve their wellbeing.
“Burnout is what happens when you try to avoid being human for too long.”
